We ship all our orders by USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Once your order has shipped we will send you a confirmation with the tracking number. Depending on your location, your order should arrive within 2 to-7 business days.
We want to ensure that your order has arrived safely to destination, so will be tracking your order and will contact you after has been delivered to make sure everyhing looks good.
Please ensure that you have included the correct and full address to which you would like your order to be mailed. La Loupe Design is not liable for any lost due to incorrect address information when placing your order.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, you can arrange to pick up to avoid shipping. You can use the coupon code PICK UP when doing the checkout and we will contact you to arrange a date and time. Our studio is located in the Mount Vernon area, Baltimore City 21201.
How long will it take to ship my order?
Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation and we will start getting your order ready.
While many of our pieces are ready to ship, some are made once the order is placed. Depending of the product, your order should be ready to ship within 2 to-7 business days. We will send you an email to confirm the lead time of your order.
MADE TO ORDER EMBROIDERIES please allow 1 to 2 weeks for shipping.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
To receive an international shipping quote please send us an email to email@example.com with the items and quantities you'd like to purchase as well as your exact address. International orders generally take 10-15 business days.
La Loupe Design is not responsible for any customs delays, import fees, taxes, VAT or any other fees should your package be processed by customs.
NOTE: Our lamps have types A and type B outlet plugs. Mainly used in the USA, Canada, Mexico & Japan.
What kind of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Square. You do not need to have a Square account to complete your purchase, just follow the directions on your screen during the checkout process. We also accept Paypal.
Do you charge Sale tax for purchases online?
If you live in the state of Maryland your online purchase will be subject to 6% MD Sales tax.
What is your return policy?
We gladly accept returns and exchanges. Please red terms and conditions bellow
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RETURN & EXCHANGE:
- Contact us within 7 business days after receiving your order.
- Costumers are responsible for the returned shipping cost of your order, or the total shipping cost of the exchange.
- The returned item should be shipped in the same package as it was received.
- Refund and exchange will be processed after we received the returned order in good condition. If damage or lost during transit La Loupe Design is not responsible for the loss of the returned item.
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Origami lamps made of colors other than Off White.
If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org us within 3 business days after receiving the order. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
How do I clean my lamp?
Remember to wash your hands before handling the lampshade.
We recommend the use of an electronics compressed air duster to blow-off dust and lint from hard-to-reach areas. It works perfectly and it's a very easy way to clean your shade.
For pet’s hair you can use a small lint rollers. Masking tape or packing tape also works using the sticky part of the tape gently into the fabric.
For marks and scuffs, we recommend the use of a dry clean sponge or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If you need more cleaning power a Laundry stain remover pen will work. Just gently applied to the affected zone, note that sometimes it may require multiple applications.
Do you sell wholesale?

What happen if my package was damaged during transit?
If you see the package it has been damaged during transit, you can reject it and the carrier will send it back to us to process a claim. However, we know many times UPS or USPS just leaves the box on the front porch or your door and is too late to reject the package. If that is the case, let us know as soon as possible and we will start a claim.
In case of damage during transit, we will arrange a refund or replacement of the item. Pictures of the damaged box and items are required.
If you haven't contacted us within 7 business days after receiving the damaged package La Loupe Design will be not responsible for the claim.
NOTE: La Loupe Design is not responsable for stolen packages after been delivered.
The shipping rate will be calculated depending on your location and it will show when doing the checkout process.
The shipping rate includes all the packing material, handling of your order, the shipping fee and signature required service for orders of $400 or more. We pack our products very carefully to ensure that your order gets safely to your home. We use heavy duty double wall boxes and in some cases double box.
If you need the package by a particular date, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for rush shipping options. If express delivery is needed there may be additional shipping fees.
